BIOGRAPHY
Terry Tomsick is licensed to practice law in Colorado and in California. She was awarded the AV rating by her peers for Martindale Hubbell in both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards in 2001. She was a Municipal judge, Denver County Court Magistrate, and Hearing Officer in the Denver metropolitan area for several years. After spending two years in Slovenia, she has returned to Denver. Her dual citizenship with Slovenia enables her to maintain frequent contact with the legal community in Ljubljana.
JUDICIAL AND HEARING OFFICER EXPERIENCE
Municipal Court judge for metropolitan Denver suburbs of: Lakewood, Firestone, Dacono, Wheat Ridge, Edgewater and Central City and Magistrate for the Denver County Court (combined County and Municipal Court). Contract hearing officer for various municipalities and Denver City agencies including: Department of Excise and Licenses (liquor licenses and violations); Denver Civil Service Commission (appeals of terminations and suspensions of Denver Police Officers and Firefighters); Denver Water Department (employee terminations) Denver Public Library (employee suspensions/terminations); Arbitrator in disputes involving the Town of Mead, Private Mediator/Arbitrator, City of Edgewater; employee disputes within the City of Arvada, City of Longmont, City of Lakewood.

TEACHING
For ten years, Terry Tomsick has been teaching under the auspices of the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria. As a visiting law professor, she had been invited to teach comparative Constitutional Law, Fundamental Rights, and Criminal Procedure for various Eastern European law schools including Nicholas Copernicus in Torun, Poland, University of East Sarajevo, Republika Srpska, Bosnia, University of Szeged, Hungary, and University of Maribor, Slovenia
